Last night the Tour of America’s Dairyland kicked off with the Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic. Kristen Lasasso took first place in the Pro Women’s race with an amazing solo ride. Laura Van Gilder placed second and Nicole Whitburn claimed a close third.
In an exciting Pro Men’s race, with a barricade-pounding crowd, John Murphy conquered first place with a full minute and 10 seconds over the front of the field. Gregg Brandt claimed second and Rob White, third.
Today marks Day Two of the 11 day Tour of America’s Dairyland with the East Troy Cycling Classic. With 10 more days of cycling across southern Wisconsin, the Tour of America’s Dairyland is an event you don’t want to miss.
