Three Ways: June Dairy Month

June is National Dairy Month, and there are many reasons for us to celebrate. From the farm to the table and beyond, the dairy industry positively impacts our communities and economy by providing nutrient-rich and sustainable food products.

To get you started, here are three fun ways to kick off this year’s festivities:

1. Cows on the Concourse

June 1, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Event Details

Kick off June Dairy Month with Cows on the Concourse, a free and family-friendly event hosted on Madison’s Capitol Square. Kids and adults can meet and greet cows from local dairy farms and learn about the science behind dairy foods.


2. June Dairy Month Breakfasts

All Month – Schedule & Details

Join us at one of the many dairy farm breakfasts occurring all month long around Wisconsin. Learn firsthand what makes Wisconsin dairy products so special, enjoy a wholesome breakfast and participate in a variety of activities perfect for the entire family. 3. Burgers & Brew

June 1, 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Event Details

Bring your appetite to an afternoon with Dane County’s most popular chefs and Wisconsin’s most talented brewers who will be serving unique, mouthwatering cheeseburgers paired with craft beer. The cheeseburgers will feature delicious Wisconsin Cheese, from Fresh Mozzarella with pesto to Limburger with homemade red cabbage kraut.

While you’re there, make sure to say hello to the Cheese & Burger Society, in combination with Wisconsin Cheese, who will be adding to the fun with a variety of giveaways including a Weber Grill, a Cuisinart Grill Kit and Cheese & Burger Society swag.
