Kelly from Mountain Mama Cooks shares with us her tips for the perfect group grilling experience:

  • Customization is king – Instead of grilling multiple proteins, I keep things simple and pick just one, like chicken breast or turkey burgers. Then I set up a bar with different Wisconsin CheesesFeta, Blue or Mozzarella are all great options – alongside a variety of fresh vegetables like tomatoes, onions and sprouts. Include condiments like salsa, aioli’s, barbecue sauce, pesto, hot sauce, mustards and flavored salts so guests can make a burger all their own.

  • No such thing as too many napkins – I can’t emphasize enough that you can never have too many napkins. Grilling eats can be messy and everyone is always grabbing for something to wipe their fingers and faces on. Make small piles of napkins and set them around the table to keep guests clean.

  • Serve undressed greens – Instead of serving iceberg or romaine lettuce, serve a big bowl of baby greens. They make a great base for a salad if someone has a gluten allergy or is watching their waistline, and the sweet crunch can’t be beat tucked into a juicy burger.
