We wait patiently all year for raspberry season to begin, and once it does, the berries are bursting off the bush. One of our favorite ways to enjoy these sweet berries is freshly picked, but once your supply of berries exceeds snacking, try one of these refreshing recipes:
- The Queso Blanco Fruit Compote mixes raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, apples and juicy pineapple with pan-fried cubes of Wisconsin Queso Blanco and sweet blackberry jam. Serve in decorative glasses sprinkled with sunflower seeds for a pretty presentation.
- When the sun is high and the hot summer air is lingering, Chilled Raspberry Yogurt Soup is a refreshing change from grilled meals. Notes of vanilla and brown sugar add to the berries’ sweetness, while the zest and fresh juice of a lemon makes this soup a tart treat.
