June is National Dairy Month and we are well prepared to help you decide how to celebrate with our updated website DairyDaysOfSummer.com. Dairy events, such as the annual Cheese Curd Festival, will be happening all month long across the state and we have a full listing of where and when here, not to mention an index of over 50 delicious dairy recipes to fill your month with Wisconsin-produced goodness.
The Dairy Farm Breakfasts are one of the most popular happenings. This year more than 70 dairy farms across Wisconsin will be welcoming the public to join them for a Dairy Farm Breakfast. Visit the Dairy Farm Breakfast locator map to find a location near you.
In addition, a new incentive has been added to the website to encourage you to share your love of Wisconsin Dairy. The “Eat. Love. Share. Photo Contest” on Instagram is inviting consumers to share photos of themselves enjoying Wisconsin Cheese or any other dairy product, including butter, ice cream, sour cream, cream cheese, yogurt, whipping cream or milk. Tag your photo with #LoveDairy. All entries submitted during the month of June will be considered for voting on the Wisconsin Dairy Facebook page in July for a $3,000 grand prize, or $2,000 and $1,000 second or third prize.
