Our favorite spooky holiday is here, and we’re ready to celebrate with a kid-friendly Halloween themed Spooktacular Cheese Board. Ghouls and boys of all ages will love our playful, frightfully fun take on the traditional cheese board.

This Wisconsin cheese board skews sweet in honor of Halloween. It makes wickedly good fare for any kid’s Halloween party or family fuel before or after trick-or-treating. The star of the board is our sweet and tangy Wicked Wisconsin Cheese Dip. This chunky dip is made with two Wisconsin cheeses—mascarpone and feta—along with pineapple and pineapple juice, then dyed orange and topped with “fingernails” (toasted coconut chips). Be sure to serve it alongside pretzels and tortilla chips for dipping.

The spread is rounded out with creamy Wisconsin colby jack and feta cheeses, which taste delicious paired with juicy grapes and crunchy almonds. Candy is a Halloween must-have, so don’t forget to sprinkle candy corn, chocolate candies and caramels throughout. Add toy eyeballs, fingers and spiders for an extra frightful finish.

To make this Spooktacular Cheese Board, you’ll need:
LaGrander’s Colby Jack cheese
Athenos Feta cheese
● Almonds
● Black seedless grapes
● Candy corn
● Caramels
● Chocolate candies
● Orange soda
● Pretzels
● Salsa
● Tortilla chips

For the Wicked Wisconsin Cheese Dip:
● 8 ounces Cello® Mascarpone cheese
● 1 cup (6 ounces) crumbled Athenos Feta cheese
● 1/3 cup crushed or diced pineapple
● 1/4 cup pineapple juice
● 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
● 6-8 drops orange food coloring (optional)
● Toasted coconut chips, for topping

Combine mascarpone, feta, pineapple, pineapple juice, salt, pepper and food coloring. Adjust seasonings, to taste. Transfer to a serving bowl, and top with coconut flakes.

For a smoother dip, blend ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
