Dips are a party staple, especially during the fall football season. Use Wisconsin cheese as the base of this cheesy chicken enchilada dip and you’re sure to be the MVP of the party.
Three Wisconsin cheeses go into this easy baked dip:
- Crystal Farms Cream Cheese makes a smooth and creamy base
- Hook’s Mild Cheddar Cheese adds rich, nutty notes
- Cedar Grove Monterey Jack Cheese melts easily and gives the dip a buttery flavor
To make this dip, simply sauté onions and combine with enchilada sauce, green chilies, and shredded rotisserie chicken. Next, stir in each Wisconsin cheese and simmer until melted and combined. You can use the same skillet to sauté, mix, melt and broil for efficient preparation and clean up.
Looking to add a little spice? Shake in some of your favorite hot sauce or swap out monterey jack cheese for Wisconsin pepper jack. Any brand of Wisconsin cream cheese, cheddar cheese or jack will go great in this recipe. You could even try a medium or sharp Wisconsin cheddar to give the dip a bolder flavor.
Broil for 1 to 2 minutes and serve. With plenty of tortilla chips and fresh veggies to dip with we bet you won’t have any leftovers.
